In today's 124th Ruckleigh School Debate the children from Years 1-6 sang Christmas Songs and listened to the story told in each as interpreted by our Year 6 Speakers: Isla, Ashwikka and Nandini.
The Members of the House made comments about why they liked a song and how it made them feel and then cast a vote for their favourite, choosing from: The Colours of Christmas; Ding Dong Merrily on High and Good King Wenceslas. And today Ashwikka was our Christmas Star with the children having voted her favourite as their chosen Christmas Carol...Ding Dong Merrily on High. Thank you to Akash for taking on the role as Secretary of the Debating Society today. Well done everyone, keep singing. Merry Christmas!
