Author Serena Patel visits Year Three and Four

Serena Patel, author of the popular 'Anisha Detective' series visited Ruckleigh to work with Years Three and Four.  She talked to the children about her inspirations and shared advice on writing humorously.  After hearing Serena read a very  entertaining chapter from one of her books, the children created their own funny paragraphs in her style.   We definitely had a few superfans in the audience, but everyone enjoyed the visit enormously!  Pupils can now appreciate their signed copies, or look out for Serena's books in the school library or bookshops.
