Last Friday Years 3 & 4 were very lucky to have a visit from Laura James, the author of the Captain Pug and Fabio Flamingo books.  They all had a wonderful afternoon and as a group started inventing some of their own plotlines and characters for a zany detective story.  Our budding authors were all very keen to participate in the workshop and came up with some fabulous ideas.  Library has a copy of all the Laura James books, which are proving to be very popular.
