Local Author and Illustrator Alina Crisan introduced us to her colourful monster friend 'Professor Broccoli'.  Alina shared her delightful book with children from Years 1 and ​2 who were eager to show off their alphabet knowledge as they joined the Professor on his imaginative journey.  Alina helped the children develop their language skills with some wonderful new vocabulary and use of clever alliteration.  The children found that everything is not quite as it seems and that if you look carefully enough, there are always surprises to be found and kindnesses to celebrate.
