Nursery and Kindergarten had a very special visitor today, James the paramedic. As part of Nursery's People Who Help Us topic, we have been learning about paramedics so it was really helpful to ask a real paramedic all of our questions. James showed us all of the equipment that he needs to carry on him and then took us out to the Ambulance. We went inside in groups to look at the equipment inside the ambulance and got to try on his special helmet. James then put on the lights and sirens for us. We had to cover our ears because it was really loud! The fun didn't stop there as we needed to prepare for our Teddy Bears picnic. We prepared our own picnic throughout the day and had a great time eating them together and completing some party games. It has been a fantastic end of year treat!
